The Gemini Kitchen is built on a simple belief: food is one of the most powerful ways we connect with one another.

It crosses cultures, carries memory, and comforts us in the best and worst of times.

Through private dining, weekly meal plans, cooking classes, and culinary gatherings, The Gemini Kitchen creates experiences that invite people to eat well, explore something new, and enjoy being together.

We care about where food comes from, how it's prepared, and the stories it carries. We're drawn to the space between tradition and reinvention, familiar and unexpected, thoughtful technique and the simple joy of making something delicious.

The Gemini Kitchen was created by chef Rachel Ruffin, whose background spans mathematics, regenerative agriculture, beekeeping, and professional kitchens throughout the DC area. That curiosity informs a cooking philosophy rooted in thoughtful technique, respect for ingredients, and an eagerness to experiment.
